Supporting Data Stewardship: Exploring the Value of the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC)
Protecting learning information is paramount for any Iowa school district, but can require considerable time, effort and research for technology integrationists and directors to navigate the nuances of many companies’ fine print. Luckily, Iowa AEAs and the Iowa Department of Education are partnering to streamline data privacy stewardship tasks for CIOs in all Iowa schools and are excited to share that the Iowa Alliance of the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC) is launching in the 2022-2023 school year.
During the conversation, participants learned how they can access free tools and templates and learn more about the new National Data Privacy Agreement (NDPA) being adopted across all 32 SDPC Alliances.
